#703 – Communications Response Timeout (#903 – MAC Error)

This error may display on Moneris PINpad
#903 MAC Error on Transaction 95 (Initialization and Handshake)
  1. Unplug the PINpad from the computer.
    This is generally a USB-to-Serial cable.
  2. Unplug the power for PINpad.
  3. Restart MiraServ.
    » Restart MiraServ
  4. Reboot the computer.
  5. Plug in the power to the PINpad.
    Wait for the “Welcome” message.
  6. Plug in the PINpad into the computer.
  7. Run Initialization steps.
    » Initialize a PINpad
