Application cannot be started. Contact the application vendor.
Root element is missing.

Fix #1 – Force re-install of Booking Agent

  1. Click Start > Run or Windows W + R.
  2. Enter: %UserProfile%\AppData\Local\Apps
  3. Click OK.
  4. Delete the 2.0 folder and Yes if prompted.
  5. Start the Booking Agent.
    You’ll be prompted to install.

Fix #2 – Re-install / Repair .NET Framework

Fix #3 – Uninstall and Re-install the Booking Agent

  1. Click Start > Settings > Control Panel.
  2. Double click on Add or Remove Programs.
  3. Select Booking Agent from the list of currently installed programs.
  4. Click the Remove button.
  5. Follow the removal instructions plus any requests to reboot the computer.
  6. Install the Booking Agent.

Fix #4 – Clear cache from application

  1. Click Start > Run or Windows W + R.
  2. Run the following:

SonicWALL may block DevExpress.Pdf.v17.2.Core.dll.

  1. Go to Network->Address Objects.

  2. Add a new object.

  3. Security Services > Gateway Anti-Virus.

  4. Scroll to Gateway AV Exclusion List and use the install.blueskybooking.com object.
